NOW Foods Vitamin D-3 Softgels provide this essential vitamin in a highly absorbable liquid softgel format. Each softgel delivers a high-potency dose of 10,000 IU (250 mcg) of vitamin D3.

Vitamin D can be obtained through the diet or produced by the skin following exposure to ultraviolet B radiation from sunlight. However, it is naturally present in relatively few foods, and limited sun exposure may contribute to inadequate vitamin D levels.

Often known as the “sunshine vitamin”, vitamin D is fat-soluble and can be stored in the body. It supports the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, helping maintain healthy bones, teeth and muscles.
